Let’s look into how our Dalton/Whitfield County residential market started March in terms of Pending Sales!
We saw a 6.85% Increase M/M, from 73 at the start of February to 78 in March. This continues a streak of positive growth in pending sales for the third month in a row, up 13 units from the December 2023 low of 65 pending sales.
While Y/Y data is not available (recorded data began in April 2023), we can see that April 2023 had 108 Pending Sales at the start of the month. Seeing a positive Y/Y growth next month would require a 31 unit increase in pending sales at the start of April. While I wouldn’t rule out an increase in our M/M pending sales data next month, I find it highly unlikely that we have a near 40% increase in pending sales M/M.
