Dalton/Whitfield County Residential Inventory Report: March 2024

Let’s take a look at how the Dalton/Whitfield County residential market started in March!

We saw a very slight dip in our active inventory this month, going from 136 at the beginning of February to 133 at the start of March. This -2.2% fall in active inventory is very minimal, but shows a rising demand in the the market as sales increased in February.

There is a much different story when we look back to this time in 2023. March 2023 started with 103 active listings, but showed a similarly minimal decline in active inventory M/M when compared to February 2023. This 29% Y/Y increase in inventory may prove to be better for many buyers in the market as they have more options and a higher likelihood of sellers accommodating some needs.
